I looked for it on amazon.com and amazon.de a few months ago - found it at amazon.de but only as a Region 2 DVD. I've got an all-region player but sadly English subtitles weren't listed as a feature.

If it ever comes out with 'em though, it's definitely going on my Wish List. There's no way I could resist a Das Boot parody.

I really think this was the main thought when the guys at Ubisoft Romania went to work with SH5, they didn't dot too much to it besides the graphics cause they figured the Modding Comunity would fill in the gaps for them, so they left it as open to modding as possable, and didn't build too much of the game into 'hardcode' so that we can fill in the gaps, and also still tweek it to be the best simulation possable for our time!. That's also what i'm hoping for, The modding comunity in America seems to be at access to better info that that in Europe! And also cause like a B-movie, these guys had limited budget, time and resourses at their end to build this game, as wacky as it seems, its' unfortunately the truth. And like any Busyness, they love saving money and time!!!!!!!!! Also not to mention the peer pressure to release it on in a standard time bases, what with all the other games all over the world being made to compete with! And with modern technology of being able to 'fix' minor glitches and bugs with the first year of release through Launcher Technology, and Oline DRM systems. they had their work cut out for them. All I'm saying, is that SH5 is the B-movie, and we are the crazy devote fans behind it, and it is chock FULL of FLAWS, ...But we are
still FANS! Silent Hunter Forever!!! ....sieg hail?? or is that too weird??

What I'm trying to say is, that Not all games will be awsome or perfect, but will have a 'thing' to them that keeps bring u back, and keeping u interested in it.
That's why we are now seeing a SILENT HUNTER 5. 5!!!!!!!!!!!! most movies stop at 3, but u guys won't say goodbye. and nieghter will I!! I love U-boats,
and hope to God that they keep coming out with simulators for 'em! and U all should too! if u love submarines, then after simulating a life in a U-boat, all else should come easy!!
My thoughts exactly
