We have Silent Running that effectively acts as a cloaking device (I was just attacked by DD's who, after reducing my hull integrity to 17%, just flew right past me when I set depth to 20 metres and the engines to "Dead slow ahead"), laser-guided 88mm shells, and the ability to get the German spy satellites to give you the coordinates of every ship in a 2000 kilometres radius... did they make a modern sub game and then decide to convert it to a WWII setting at the very last minute?
