Same here. I read lots of the posts in most parts of subsim but don't find it necessary to post a lot myself.

Maybe folks are off playing other games, its been a crazy month for games so far, my wallet is not so happy

Games released this month:
Deadspace/Fable2/Far Cry2/Fallout3/LBP + a bunch of others.

And next month looks just as full with Gears2/Mirrors edge and COD:World at war etc...

Its getting harder to find the time to play sh3, it`ll pick up in the new year when everyones bored with the pre-christmas console stuff and goes back to subsimming.

Okay I confess. The excellent work of the modding guys at AllAircraftArcade has forced me back into my Il2 habit in quite a big way. However, I've just started a Med-based career in a new VIIB - currently at 12,000 tons for 3 torpedoes

But that's because you have a real life. This is the only life I know.

Default Im here

I am one of the newer capt's on the stage, but I am checking in. I probably spend 4 hours a day with SH3 related things,

I have recently loaded SH4 and quite honestly the only thing I do with it, is to wonder why it doesn't look as good to me as 3 and what is all the fuss about?

I think that the upcoming gwx 3 will resurrect this game as long as the graphics are on par with whats out there right now.

Why would anyone want to go to SH4 when the first thing they are doing is trying to make it a Uboat game. SH3 is perfectly good, has a great engine to it, the mods that have been created by all of you have breathed new life into it.

When asked why I play it,, I cant say anything but it looks great and the action is perfect.

Husker, I was wondering the same thing myself. I bought new copies of both from Amazon, loaded one at work and one at home ... now I am wishing I loeded two copies of SH3.
