Suddenly, battleships

Tens of them!

On the sidenote, the time speed up got jammed, so yeah. My U-boat disappeared due to overhelming amount of ventilation holes

Have died many times trying to get to late 41/42 so i can join in the turkey shoot in the eastern US seaboard.
This is my goal and always is when i start a career in 39. Though i have never made it so far. But touch wood as my current career is look promising am in mid 40 and going well. But that has been the case many times before.
My last try was ended by 2 flowers who double teamed me death by depth charges after i had sunk the 3 biggest ships from there convoy.

I used to be a completely insane Kpt but have calmed down a lot of recent times. Just ask Jimbuna about playing chicken with DD's

Thats why I live out of my boat. All hatches shut (vents open) even in the winter months, these boats are quite cozy. I love the cold.

Same thing happened to me. I didn't know Bernard was involved. That man gets around.

I haven't died yet in my career in NYGM 3.0. I can say that aircraft are anything but impotent (you'll see some posts I made bitching about excessive air cover north of Scotland in '39/'40 - none of them killed me but did damage me).

I died in a previous career in a rather ridiculous manner. I'd managed to infiltrate a convoy (submerged) and was lining up a BB (Revenge class I think) for a full salvo. I hit the wrong key by mistake, blowing ballast and surfacing all of 700m from it.

Those casement secondary guns are quite effective at that range....

Gunfight. New, rather inexperienced, before GWX came to my machine (this was a long time ago, before my video card started PMSing on me).

In retrospect, even on easier settings, thinking that I could outshoot two Flowers and two trawlers was a big, big mistake. Not DID, though.

Then there were those destroyers north of Scotland...
