OK! I thought so! In Sh3 these limitations were not. What can be done? And a few questions. Whether it is possible to do audible sounds "periscope_UpDown", "Torpedo tube opening", "Submarine_surfacing", "Submarine_diving" in a conning tower and in Central Post?

In addition, aerial of radar also rises without a sound. I can do this sound. Whether there is possibility to include him in Sh4?

Perhaps someone can correct me, but I believe that "Emergency Dive" on American boats is the equivelant to the German "Alarm." In the movie "Das Boot," it makes sense to say "Alarm" also in the English language because it is still a German boat.

Since Das Boot is a German movie is possible that the makers choosed the litteral translation of the german "Alarm", I am italian and my version of Das Boot has "Allarme". I think it was the common signal in the german navy to alert the crew and order a Crash dive.

I don't know what can be done with the cut-off of certain sounds. No one has been able to figure that one out, and the devs haven't explained how it all works.

For adding sounds to the conning tower, you need to look in the DSD files in /data/interior, though I don't know if it's possible to attach audio files to things like the periscope coming up and down.

Hi Poul!
I have just a question: I can not hear the bell after giving a speed order i.e ahead full or all stop. I'm sure the mod is correctly installed, but some sounds are not played at all or not entirely at least.

Any suggestion? What's the cause in your opinion?

This sound does not work sometimes (very rarely). It is a little failure of the program Sh4, I think. A sound is interrupted then, when at once other report goes from CHE. For example report about a current depth.

I found a solution, I've copied the order sounds into the "5" folder in which they were missing. Now it forks fine!

I haven't tried this mod, since I'm presently useing ROW Sound Effect 9 as well. I would have to assume that if this mod changed the sounds of any of the files that ROW sounds uses, ROW sounds would be overwritten. What you could do, is D/L this mod, and play the sound tracks with Real Player, or whatever else, and compare to see which you prefer without having too install it.

I tried to answer your questions (look at the post of #31). I do not have mods ROW Sound Effect v_9 and ROW Sounds + RSRDC III Sh.sdl Add-on. But I used mod ROW Sound Effect v_8. It is wonderful work!
Do you use ROW Sound Effect v_9 already ?
Then will be so:
Sounds (look the post of #1: they are written there) from my mod will replace analogical sounds from ROW. Other sound files from ROW Sound Effect (basic volume) will remain in a former kind. Eventually you can from these two works take the best files (for your ear) and do mod for itself.

You no longer need ROW Sounds + RSRDC III sh.sdl. It's part of ROW Sound Effect v9.

Thanks...now that is clear!

As for my other confusion/questions, I don't know what "analogical" sounds are... as opposed to other types/formats of sounds...and/or how you tell which is which as far as folder location or file extensions in either the ROW or POUL MODs.
