As far as I know the death penalty costs actually more, than keeping guys their whole life in prison.

Not if they did it my way. One length of rope, $3.98. Should last several years.
I say a pit full crocodiles. Just chain him next to a river, splash the water and wait....

Todays pedophile, tomorrows croc $hit.
Too easy. Sharks with laser beams attached to their heads.

That will make the guys from the BKA proud. Their tools by which they restored the images, in the beginning were laughed about.

It is always a bad and sad thing if somebody abuses his superiority to harm the weak for selfish reasons. With regard to child abuse, it is especially vicious. In this case: maximum penalty is appropriate. Something tells me he is not mentally deranged, so let him taste the law in full volume.

Not so much. I'd wager that we can all understand the motive for theft, the motive for speeding etc
How many of us can empathise with a child molester? How many of us understand what motivates them?
What do we know about why they do what they do?

These people are very aware of societies laws, yet they still break them and commit horrendous crimes.
Combined with the nature of the crime, that sounds like an illness to me.
