The Japanese Empire is learning to fear S-37.

Coming soon to an ocean near you.

I could not disagree with you more. Everyone complains about how terrible the game is and how much it crashes and every other little imperfection that this game has. Yes, some aspects of this game are not functioning as of now, but in general, most of these things are fixed by the truly dedicated modders that we have here at Subsim.

I also don't think that the "save your money, buy something else" statement works here seeing as there is no other game that can match SH4 right now, no other WWII pacific subsims available, SH4 is what we have and you have to believe in it and that it can and will improve.

Finally, you say that this game will be "dead" if Ubisoft doesn't fix it. Right now, this game looks very alive to me. There are many mods available that can vastly improve stock SH4 and if there are so many people playing and modding this game, how can it be dead? Ubisoft has also, as I'm sure you know, said that they are already working on a fix for SH4. SH4 is in the process of being fixed and all that it takes is a little dab of patience to see that this game will come out amazing.

Well spoken. To be honest, I've gotten more enjoyment out of SH4 this far than I ever got out of SH3. And I really like SH3. Hopefully WotP will get even better once 1.3 comes around.

I have only used sh4 a dozen times. One one patrol having sank a battleship, two destroyers and several merchants without the escorts batting an eyelid, I became bored. So at the moment I am back with sh3 GWX.
I am not sure if things have improved at the moment but when/if the next patch comes out I will give it another try. But at the end of the day the U-boat war gives me a greater feeling of danger, knowing that the British navy will hunt my sorry *ss. That is my 2 pence worth.

There's a couple mods that will make the escorts more difficult. It makes a huge difference. The hard-code issue of whole convoys just stopping when the lead unit is sunk is to be fixed in 1.3 from the fix-list I saw. It doesn't happen too often for me so I don't worry too much about it since it's been confirmed.

They have to sell a 100% game.

So i am still playing shIII + GWX.

Today i bought it, i had the last copy in the shop.
I am trusted that the game will become perfect.

I'm just playing on easy mode for now and so far it's running alright and when the 1.3 patch comes out time to move up the realism ladder.

Kinda like waiting for a wife to come along that's a perfect 10, cooks like a famous chef, is a virgin and hates to talk.

You take the first one that fits one of the four and live happily everafter.

You can`t compare.

When a game comes on the market it should be bugfree.
It`s always with bugs. But always later comes the patches.
Now what happened with SHIV wasn`t nice.
It looked like that the game wasn`t tested.

In the time of the Commodore c64 and amiga the games came perfect on the market.
In that days we never heared of patches.

Mods definately help until the next patch. I think you are stressing about the bugs too much. At least missing out
