I see they still haven't ficed the flag movement underwater. I never knew the underwater currents are so strong!

Great video, excellent choice of music.

Me too...allthough they deform quite fast.
Wonder if the speed can be modded?

And they also recycled the totally unrealistic sinking ship time frmo SH3, looks like the XWX or NGYM folks will have to come out of retirement to fix this all over again.

Liked the smoke and fire effects

Not to mention the return of the sewing machine diesel engine sounds.

I see some glaring issues so far......

1) 3 Blade screws??........and appear to rotate in wrong direction!!

2) Forward dive planes look like nubs while sub is on surface...have been seeing this since 1st trailer...Stevie Wonder can see that!

3) Issue with flag after sinking...someone mentioned that earlier.

4) And for immersion sake alone......show water being pumped thru exhaust port(s) during surface running.

Pretty simple stuff it would seem for such a master dev team like this. If not, maybe someone will be able to mod.....

For me personally, save only the fact that it is finally a PTO sim, I don't see that big a leap in eye-candy from SH3.....could be me....maybe I expected too much...

At the very least I expected the sub model to be exact!

However, I will buy it no matter what...but....(shaking head)..

Man, does a little Sampan really deserve a pounding military march?

Am I wrong in thinking that the fast sinking was a realism option you could switch off in SH3? I seem to recall that being the case, I haven't got it installed right now so I can't check but it's a good choice for the ADD action oriented simmers out there.

I think I saw a pic of the water being pumped/drained out during surface running, not sure if ti was out of the exhaust ports though.

Hopefully the SHIII sounds were thrown in for the Beta release and they are
working on new and improved SHIV sounds.I know that the Dev.team is pressed
for time but... if they go ahead and release the exact sound package from SHIII I will be very dissapointed.

Even if they did recycle all/some of the sounds from SHIII, I'm sure there'd be a plethora of sound mods released in no time at all.

I thought it was MSgalileo who chose the sounds and edited them into the video, and were not from the actual game. That's what his editing software screen grab was showing us, wasn't it?

Wasn't it mentioned that what they have is a very old alpha/beta version of the game or something?
