1940. U-48 sinks a British tanker, American steamer, and a British modern merchant - all stragglers from an eastbound convoy. The following day, HMS "Somali" and HMS "Lord Middleton" rescue the three ships' survivors.

The "Manchester General" goes down after her cargo of ammunition explodes. Photographer unknown.

Sailors from the "British Journalist" escape in a lifeboat. The still-burning wreck of their ship is clearly visible. By Roger Grimsby, Signalman, "HMS Lord Middleton".

The loss of the American steamer "Johnny Luckenbach", which was carrying one of the first lend-lease cargoes of US military vehicles to the British. Photograph by David Green, ABS on the "Johnny Luckenbach".

The remaining stragglers pass a pair of life rafts. Taken by David Green. Not sure how he managed to bring his camera, considering that the stock SH3 damage model sank his ship in 5 minutes.

i´m playing GWX 2.1. Someone can tell me with which mod can i see the huge holes in the hulls of the ships (4.-5 pages before)?

In GWX alone, only a black shadow in the site of impact.
And what about the lifeboats and the survivors?
