Damn close! but what're they called? Hint: part of the 'standing' rigging as opposed to the 'running' rigging EDIT: Betonov gets it! I didn't properly post the photo so to include all three pully's The two shown are 'shreave' blocksthe one not shown is the 'fiddle' block -all together constitute the backstay spreader; which was what I was originally looking for. It adjusts the mast to an upright position altering the mainsail's warp to suit wind/strain conditions..AS amply demonstrated by the handsome model...(for Catalina, WestMarine and Weightwatchers-hey ballast is ballast BBY!).Sailor Steve cannot be allowed to be the only member with 'his mast up in port' TAKE IT BETONOV!
