11/02/2009 ~0400GMT+2
City of Knokke
116. Pzr.Div. Special Ops

Pair of Messershmitt 109s fly over me, rolled on their left side, obviously curious of what was happening below on the harbor area. It's a nice warm sunny day. Despite the calm day, there was electricity in the air; The 116th Panzer Div. was about to strike England!

0410 - Tanks waiting to be winched aboard

0420 - Our workhorse, the PzrIVG

0425 - Other transport joining us, already fully loaded with Tiger tanks and halftracks

0441 - Still at port, waiting for the last armored car to arrive

0520 - Finally on the way, bye bye mainland Europe!

0606 - Arriving to our first meet up point, Pilomon's transport already waiting

0918 - At our final meeting point, 20km north from our target; Ramsgate

0951 - DD's racing towards England

No, we didnt succeed. We did get to the beaches but then the RAF showed up and bombed our ships to bits. I was the only one to survive as I was infantry, so I didnt die when the ship went down. Spend another 1-1½hrs walking towards the target which was 2km away. Hearing that the 2 paradrops had failed too, I decided to despawn and go to bed. Was great fun (tho the ~6hr boatrip was "abit" boooooooring. Only one to keep me company was Deathryper, with whom we recreated scenes from Titanic)!

6hrs + 2 hours on the first try (our transport driver lost connection and everyone on his ship died). So all in all the operation lasted close to 9 hours, 10+ if you count my lone wandering after the landing.

The thing is, England havent been attacked or captured that many times in WWIIOL, so that's what we'd like to do. For one, it would be very bad for the moral on allied side and secondly it would tie down allied troops that are in England, making it not possible for them to rotate as much brigades as they can now (I think there's 4+ allied ground brigades in england atm). And that would give the axis side a huge advantage as we can rotate our fresh brigades to battle whenever we need to.

Oh and it would tie down alot of RAF & FAF.

Great pics, Hunter! RA2 is one of my all-time favorite games. RA3 could possibly be my 2nd most favorite if EA pumps out a couple more patches (1.07 is imminent) and does a true expansion. I don't count Uprising as a true RA3 expansion since it will be a standalone product.

I was just messing around with RA3 again. I did something really lame - I did a 1 vs. 1 map while allied to the AI. I was doing a test to check something else because during the previous match it didn't work right. Must have been a fluke because it worked right again. Anywho, when I was just messing around I wanted to mass produce a navy. With five naval yards I built up a huge force quickly. I built 33 assault destroyers, 25 aircraft carriers, and 22 hydrofoils. Just thought I would show the massive force.

Lol, no, we didnt figure the key to get our clothes off so had to do other scenes. We did the "If you jump, I'll jump", "I am the king of the woooooorld" and the scene where Billy Zane chases Jack & Rose with the pistol. And of course we sang the theme song.
