A record 33,470 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK government's latest daily figure.

It is the highest daily number since mass testing began in the UK, and brings the total number of cases to more than 1.29 million.

The scale of testing in the UK has steadily grown in recent weeks.

Government minister Alok Sharma said rising case numbers were "a reminder to us about why we are taking action to stop the spread of the virus".

On Wednesday the UK became the first country in Europe to pass 50,000 Covid deaths.

Thursday's daily number of cases showed a 45.8% increase on Wednesday's figure of 22,950.

The reason for this high number of positive corona should be the number who is being tested...the authorities say.

How high would this number of positive be...if everyone followed the restrictions the national government has made ?

I say the number would be a lot lower.

In Germany, the numbers still race upwards, but the curve if slowly flattening a bit, by trend the speed of increase in it is slowing down - a bit.

Statistical simulations and projections show that in the time between 22nd and 25th Novembre we will probably have twice as many patients in ICU than we had at the climax of the first wave in Spring.

And if we introduced more intelligence tests, we would have more idiots.

I'm not talking about bringing down the number of daily test who is made in each country.

I'm just saying if everyone followed the restriction-this high number of positive test, wouldn't be so high. Zero infected is not a possibility.

Daily I read how my friends is critical against the restriction on using facemask. They can't understand how the daily number of positive corona is so high, when we shall wear facemask in public areas or where there's a lot of people gathered.

In the beginning I told some of them, that the reason is simple.

The people "use" these facemask wrong a huge majority does. They use the same facemask several times and other things. Many even use these who's made of fabric
They think that these mask is a universal protection against Corona-
Because before we had to use facemask, passangers who entered the bus I was sitting in, stayed and looked around to find a place where there was distance to others...now they get on the bus and take a seat even if there is 5-10 others sitting closely together.

It also seem like people forget all the rest...even people shall wear facemask in public they shall keep social distance and use hand sanitizer when possible or wash hands as often as possible.

I'm not a corona police or try to act as one I don't care what other do..I have only observed certain changes in others behavior after we was forced to use facemask and how they are being used.

No, more intelligent people. Only idiots would refuse to get tested and getting a score and missing all the benefits from having a certificate saying they have something that they haven't.

I've also made similar observations in my home town Markus but what angers me the most is the fact that with each passing day, fewer and fewer people are no longer bothering to wear a face mask.

I blame the supermarkets greed for gold mentality for this. Anyone not wearing a mask without a valid reason should be refused entry if nothing other than to protect the diminishing majority who still wear them.

According to the CDC, the US continues to break the daily new case records. 12 Nov 20 194,610 new cases just for that one day.



To put it some perspective on 1 Apr 2020, the total number of cases in the US was 212,871.


And we are just getting into the winter season.
