Always arrive off Calais between 23:00 and 01:00, use the ruler to make marker points to keep you exactly 3000m out. Travel with decks awash at full ahead. With the decks awash speed will be reduced to about 10Kts. The most tricky part is the approach to the port, rather than the port it's self. Always works.
