RPG Stands for Role Playing Game and before we start with sexually based jokes I have to say that it's really cool but possibly very geeky (for some people) Nevertheless I think Elric is a really cool (somehow tormented as well) character and ocasionally I associate myself with him.

Well, I found SubSim back in the Silent Hunter 2 days (not that long ago!).
In the months before Silent Hunter 3 was announced Sub Sim was a mix of
modern Sub fans who had just got Dangerous waters and the World War Two
guys like my self who hadn't had a new sub game for a long time. That didn't
stop the Silent Hunter 2 community one bit tho. Patrol reports, multi-player
games, grand campaigns and a vibrant modding community as well as all the
usual forum banter at SubSim is what I remember best about the games.

Had SH2 then SH3 came out, not being as knowledgeable of Computers at the time, I bought SH3 and fed it in to the Computer. Well, it tried it's damm hardest to load and play a single mission and I could hear pings amongst the chaos and picture breaking up. The pings hooked me in and, after realising the specs weren't enough to run the game, I went out and purchased a Computer with enough specs at the time solely to play SH3. I only play SH3 and relevant derivatives/mods and Virtual Pool 3 which I am addicted to and blame Gizzmoe for this
:rotfl:
After playing SH3 for a while, started looking for more info and ended up finding Subsim with a little help from Drebbel.

Nothing psychic about it. While I'm familiar with RPGs, and have played a few, they're really not my thing. I just kept reading his name and thinking "Elric of Melnibone...Melnibonian...he must be a fan"; so I had to ask.

Perfectly reasonable question Steve. I am a huge fan since I was a young kid back in Athens. Whenever I have the time I do play with my mates, or read RPG/Fantasy books. Over here in the UK I haven't found so many people familiar with the Elric Saga. If I'm not mistaken Moorcock's books are better known to North America than Europe. Nevertheless Elric Rules, although GWX is not far behind :p
