Oberst Chad cleared his throat and stiffened him back. He felt the eyes of the villagers and the German military men on him. “As you know, we have lost two more people last night, and the innkeeper as well. Last time we gathered here, we did our duty but we were unfortunate and an innocent man was killed. This time I am confident no such mistake will take place. After careful examination and a thorough questioning of all potential witnesses and suspects by Oberfeldwebel UnderseaLcpl, we will end this madness and execute the person responsible.

He turned to Gemeiner JCWolf and Gefreiter Oberon. “Sieze U-13 Funker Groduz!”

“Wait! Nein, I am not a beast! I have seen things, things you must know about,” cried Gorduz. Before he could break clear, the soldiers were on him.

“If you have any last words, comrade, I suggest you compose them now.” He handed Gorduz a piece of paper and pencil.

JCWolf watched the condemned man. Where he stands now, I once stood, he thought.

Gorduz jotted down a quick scrawl with trembling hands. “You are making a mistake, Herr Oberst. You have made another mistake. Or perhaps this is your plan?” he said.

“Men, take up your positions and carry out your orders.”

In the infirmary, UnderseaLcpl arranged the linens from Letum’s bed. Death, judgment, and suspicion seem far removed from the quiet, sterile room. He leaned over to the pale, prostrate soldier.

“Gemeiner, can you hear me? Gemeiner Letum…what…what did you see?” he whispered.

The firing squad raised their rifles with grim determination. At Hauptmann Hitman’s signal, they fired. Gorduz’s body slumped lifelessly at the post. All eyes watch for any sign of demonic traits. But there is nothing to suggest Gorduz is guilty of anything more heinous than crooked teeth and dirty feet.

“My lord,” said Penelope to NealT and SandyCaesar. “Oh beneficial Providence, what have we done?”

The echo from the distant shots reverberate across the village and camp. In his bed, Gemeiner Letum’s eyes snap open.

Why have we, and the vilagers been the only ones to be killed in large numbers...

While only 1 of the kamps members have been killed and one injured. I think there is something more to some of those kamp members than meets the eye.

The only thing they have killed are normal people.

I think to myself as I work on the boats parts at the fastest pase I could.

So far, these executions, have been wrong. I'm going to turn in now I need rest and I have suitcases under my eyes, its hard to sleep when you are terrified and full of coffee...

If I am still alive come daybreak tomorrow, there will be a breakfast on for those who are hungry. Its going to be a full English, you can see the ingredients there on the blackboard.

I'll use what I have left in the store room. Nokia has... sorry... had, some good bacon stashed away. I'll use it. Hopefully I'll see you in the morning.

well engine 1 is 35% done. But I still need to rebuild engine 2. What could have gotton to these things.

Could the wolf have been in here with us the first night and we didnt even know it.
