Hey AVGWarhawk in your first pic ( post 416 ) watch those rocks as I found out their BOULDERS. Look at the size of this one compared to the sub which is setting on bottom.

I took her down a little to fast here ( straight down, engines off ) and the sand flew. LOL

Sub is right on bottom but the NA says 4 Ft. left. I think thats because the sonar for depth is located in the aft and its higher than the keel.

Think I'll just stay awhile and take a nap. ZZZzzzzzzzz

Considering the monsoon/rain season, technically it should be possible that it rains for a month in the Pacific and it is actually unrealistic if it's not possible to be caught in rain for a month during that time.
For the OTHER sub sim, anybody who has lived in or near England can testify it can rain for more than a month...

One thing I like about SHIV is the fact that you have to be really careful and identify your target. I'm still out on my first patrol with USS Spearfish in the Celebes Sea. I had sunk a small freighter the previous evening when my radar picked up a contact.

What started out like this....

...ended up being this... Our Boys!

Damn! I worked hard on that solution and SO wanted to let loose a fish. Hmmm, they're so close I can see their butt cracks.

Let's scare the crap out of them.. Surface the boat!!

The transparency is controled by the environmental effects option

The float planes just don't know when to quit.

Default Well, Mexico did send troops overseas and to the US.

Mexico deployed a fighter group of P-47s to the Southwest Pacific, and they flew combat in the Phillipines return. Mexican troops also took up coast defence and base security duties in California.
