DCS: Huey start up procedure -
Looks very nice indeed, the instrument panel shakes nicely! Wonder how long it'll take someone to mod speakers to the side of it, if it doesn't come with them already. Oh, and Herr B, they're looking for Alpha testers for the BAe Hawk if you're interested. |

Make your mind up? Is it a Hawk or and Alpha Jet testers? Smoke on, go! Not for me, I don't meet the requirements on just about any level. I've seen enough of them though. I rather get a new map that a new a/c at the moment. I did visit BAe Brough once, many moons ago - a hanger full of crashed Hawks including the famous (although I can't find it anywhere) crash with Blue Peter. That one is more like a blue arrow now as the blue dye spread all over the a/c.

Taking off as Arclight warms up and Raptor tries to figure out if he's broken his engine or not I forget to load up any missiles, rockets or bombs, so rely on my trusty cannon to slaughter some Urals. Passing over my handiwork on the way back to the airbase to rearm and refuel I get distracted on the way back trying to hunt down DL designation 4, which should be Arclight but turns out to be a field next to a river. I land briefly whilst the gear is still going down, making Svetlana very upset. We suspect that because Arclight was on the wrong side of a hill from me that it was just displaying his last known location, because he certainly wasn't there. Raptor suspects a capitalist plot and sorties to assist in our investigation. Myself and Raptor play laser tag briefly, I lose and then the real Arclight shows up, so I follow him back to base and Raptor follows me. Meanwhile Task Force is trying to remember how to start up his A10C, he finds the ejector seat handle, ejects through the roof of the hangar and then his A10 explodes. All in a good days work! Arclight lands, I crab over next to him and land, and then Raptor wobbles over. Arclight: "I think I'm going to go over here..." Raptor: "You didn't die...that time..." |
