Deleting the start-up movies might help. Also running the Black Sea campaign files only might help, but then you must use only the Black Sea.

Just wanted to say thanks for this mod. After playing SH4 and liking it for the US subs i reinstalled SH3 because i wanted some non-pacific and german action, added GWX and i must say SH3 with your mod is EASILY a match for SH4, maybe even better! The sound, the graphics, the whole atmosphere, one can really feel the love, dedication and work you put into this.
I will buy SH5 but I really ask myself if I need it. Simply because GWX (ok and SH4, too) is so good.

wondering .... the manual says my campaigns should auto-start with 1500 renown, but I'm only getting 500. Is that a misprint or have I missed something? l8r, artao

hmmmm .... my point is the manual says I don't need to to get it. Played those already (in the past, when I first got SH3) and they're BORING!! but if I must I must I guess I guess.

Yet another question, sorry if I'm being a 'newbug'
concerning mod compatibility; using integrated orders and MaGui, wondering if I can safely use Thompsen's Sound Pack since it wants to alter Commands-en.cfg and en-menu.cfg. Also would like to use SH3 Speech, and perhaps M.E.P. if it's not already obsolete due to GWX env. fixes. If useable, what order would I install them in? currently: (in order) GWX - Captain America's Officer Icons GWX - Open Hatch Mod GWX - Integrated Orders GWX - Enhanced Damage Effects GWX - 16km Atmosphere WB's Renown Replacement Seafloor_SF_V3_Final LifeBoats Debris v4 Flat Sun Fix for GWX3 Sept39_Aug40_Radio_Mod Fernglass Leitz 7x50 Binoculars (does what? not what I thought ...) 1.4b Assisted Plotting Mod (doesn't seem to be working) MaGui (appears to override Capt. America icons) TMT v2 a Wolfehunters VIIB skin what mods do people generally/popularly use with GWX3 anyhow, and what's no longer neccessary? Loving GWX3 so far, and very much like the MaGui interface (tho I wish the dive etc. dials were bigger and popped out instead of having to use the button) Again, apologies if I'm being a bug here ... so much new since last time I was able to check, but not much info on mod intercompatibility. I'm not able to get mod to install. I bought game off of Steam and have not modded it in any way. I ran game once, to main game screen, and then exited out. I tried installing GWX 3.0 and a couple clikc into the install it topped and said it can't proceed further due to finding modded files in copy. Below is the path I used to install mod to.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII I run Windows Vista in 64bit. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Brasi |

I don't use Vista - but from all the posts on it I have read you do NOT install in the Programs folder - Vista has permissions issues with anything in that location. Anti-virus/Trojan measure I suspect ....
