Until at least 2025 I'd wager, unless the Tories manage to really screw things up between now and 2020. Or Labour actually manages to re-organise itself into some coherant form.

Neither looks particularly likely so we've got ourselves Tories for another decade at least. Wonder what will be left of this country by 2025...not a lot, I'd wager.

Default The UK's Two Party Adversarial System:

At the Chancellor...

Opposition: "What you're doing will hurt the poor... hurt the poor..."

Chancellor: "No it won't"

Opposition: "Yes it will, it will hurt the poor... hurt the poor..."

Chancellor: "Oh alright then, I won't do it"

(Pause)

Opposition: "You're weak! You're weak!"

Gods own emissary to the Labour Party, Tony Blair, has said that he supports Camerons position on bombing in Syria.

If ever there was a reason to vote against it, there it is....

Blair would probably bomb his granny, if there was something in it for him....

Ken Livingstone on BBCQT made a good point in that bombing on its own just isn't enough, and that we shouldn't get caught up in that. What we need is a concerted air and ground offensive by the UN, with Britain involved.

Yeah, was funny seeing Ken getting ripped apart by Matt Forde over his previous stance of standing against Labour

Like Forde, I also left the Labour Party the day after Corbyn was elected.

Now that Jeremy has come off the fence and decided not to support Cameron over Syria despite his shadow cabinet and parliamentary members being in a majority for said action....will he do the honourable thing and step down?

I think not....he will continue to take the money and the position and resign his party into an unelectable entity for many a year to come....and that is what annoys me because I am certainly no Tory voter.

We should all pull out and defend our own countries, stupid politicians have made a right mess and all they can do is throw more petrol on the fire while they ponce around on the world stage.

I have to agree to that caller to a radio station who served in the Army.

It's time to put my money down on the betting table.

Jeremy Corbyn stand point has rocked Labour over Syria and those who do not agree with him on this and other issues don't breakaway now and form a new party they will never never breakaway.

Corbyn is now feeling isolated over Syria with it looking increasingly likely he can't stop the wave of feeling in his shadow cabinet or parliamentary members. These members were elected by their constituents to represent hem and their views.

So what is Jeremys next move?.....He'll go to the party membership who voted for him (I received an email from him this morning, not that he got my vote and despite the fact I'm no longer a party member) and try to outflank those that were democratically elected.

You're not looking very clever in the eyes of the nation Jeremy. Time to stand down as other politicians have done in the past when failing to control their party.

Somehow I doubt you will though....seriously farcical.

JC is in charge of spineless gits who moan a groan but will not breakaway. I got more respect for the gang of four who formed the SDP.

Not just JC to blame the whole lot is a shower but don't tell the right wing press that they are too busy putting the boot in on JC, try booting the rest as well gutter press.

British politics is a sham, we got a clown in No.10 who wants to follow Blair's footsteps in blood and as for the LibDems....Where the hell are they these days? The whole political system is rotten to the core and stinks more than the days when the Thames was a open sewer!

One down and one more for the chop, Lord Felman should be the next one to resign as well me thinks. The questions I ask myself is, why has Shapps resigned if he says there is no evidence of any bullying, and did Cameron tell him to resign before he was pushed.

As for the Labour MP's they should all hang their heads in shame, they've turned a once proud party into a bleeding laughing stock, begone with you, the whole bloody lot of you.
