Hi, has anyone else encountered a 'guaranteed' crash playing Coastal Waters on Sept 30 20:00:00 hours GMT [to the second in fact]?

I've gone through the campaign twice from fresh reloads and other than the occasional random crashes I can't get any further than September 30 20:00:00 hours.

First modlist using OH2.3 was one I could load safely into Kiel in Western Approaches using silentotto. That worked so I deleted all saved campaign info and restarted into Coastal Waters (skipping Tutorial) and played until I hit the CTD Sept 30. I reloaded from a saved game that was a from Sept 28 [game time] and headed a different direction and CTD exactly at 20:00 Sept 30. Location didn't matter; if I was near Scapa Flow, or Heligoland, or in between with no scripts running it would CTD so I know it's not related to loading a nearby unit.

With the new updates to correct IDs and reduce crashes I tried again. Clean load of Silent Hunter V, loaded Generic Patcher, cleared out mod folder and started clean there using OH2.3.1 adjusted with Serge's plane corrections, used OptionFileEditor and made certain there were no old saved game / campaign files.
Now I made it Sept 30 and again at exactly 20:00 ... CTD no matter where I am.

I am going to start .. again.. with OH 2.3.1 and gap's new consolidated patch and see what goes.

I don't feel it's a Unit ID problem as it happens anywhere at a VERY specific time. Perhaps Trevally can check that date and see if something in the campaign gets triggered then (like the move to Wilhemshaven?)

Thought I'd put this out there to see if it happens to anyone else.

I may just load into Memel and "Fast forward" 2 weeks at a time to Sept 30 while sitting in bunker to check if it happens with the latest patch too.

Have you enabled any radio mod by any chance?

Hrm, in fact I just upgraded the old 5 part Grossdeutscher Rundfunk to the Grossdeutscher Rundfunk New Remix.
I'll give that the boot and see!

I have the original Grossdeutscher Rundfunk and using the RadioStationManager it says there is an error at 2000 11/12/1941 media file does not exist or something like that .

I corrected all ID planes, now in the Air folder there is no duplicated ID.
I'll check out their in missions and give a link.
In this situation (campaign -> P-47 mission => ctd) nothing has changed, so it's not in the ID.

The saying "no news is good news" doesn't apply to SH radio events obviously!

Maybe you should report the mistake in the thread where you downloaded the radio mod.

Thank you Serge. Have you dealed with all the Id conflicts I have listed at post #4727, or only the aircraft recently updated by you were fixed?

There is still a few units left for fixing then. If you give me the full list of the aircraft/equipment you have edited so far, I will deal with the rest

Hi Freind: In my remix, the file mentioned exist (1941-12-11_EIAR_Benito_Mussolini_-_Discorso OGG ALL). If someone needs it, I'll upload. Thanks!!!

2. Torpedo_Air_US_MK24.dat - renumbered.
3. Cluster (dat,sim,zon) - renumbered.
4. Bombs.dat - renumbered.
5. Bombs2 (dat,sim,zon) - fixed duplicated ID with Bombs.dat
6. DC_R_KG (dat,sim,zon) - fixed duplicated ID with SH4_guns_radars.dat and removed lost controllers.
7. SH4_guns_radars.dat - fixed duplicated ID with BazaFX.dat, fixed duplicated names with guns_radars_01.GR2 (KGun, YGun names changed to KGun_SH4, YGun_SH4, may be in vain, Cerberus62 wrote something about non-functional K-gun, it is necessary to check up all ships which use a KGun, YGun from SH4_guns_radars.dat).
