No AA, sliders mid-way. Post processing filter. Environment checked. All water effects checked. This is how it looks. My FPS average 15 to 40. 15 FPS depends on the action going on. All of this by getting a new Radeon X1300 512mb. I love this card

Pffft! The watch is the best part of the game. My family made time pieces for the Navy in WWII, you know.

Default USS Trout on Patrol in the Java Sea

USS Trout on Patrol in the Java Sea March 43'

A run in with two Betty's

They made two passes before my crashdive commenced

My Chief shot them down on the AA, moments before we got under.

A two ship kill (almost), tanker on the left with Torpedo and the one on the right with gunfire

The first sank almost imediately from 4 tube salvo, the second took a little longer as the two torps missed, so I chased her down with the deck gun, till I ran out of ammo as had already fired my last torpedoes so off to base.

Off to Fremantle

Total Tonage for the Patrol 24064 tons
2 Zero's
3 Betty's (Last two (above) Caused Flooding in the aft torpedo and control room almost went to the bottom, emergency surface, and ahead flank worked, one of the few I guess. I didn't dive again till repairs were completed)
4 Sampans
2 Large Modern Oilers
1 Medium Old Composite Merchant

Some of my shots so far.

And I have a question: how do you remove the toolbar and all other stuff from the screen? The manual says NumPad DEL but I dont have that button on any of the kayboards I own.

Shakermaker, the numpad is the pile of number-buttons on the right side of your keyboard. The one below "3" should be called "del".

Right, it's the bottom-most one on your right-hand side, to the right of "0 Ins" and to the left of "Enter"/"Return". If you're on a laptop, you'll probably had to hold a special function key while pressing it (you should see keys with one symbol in one colour and one in another colour, such as "- Del"). The alternate colour is the key's function when you press it with the special functions key depressed.

If you've tried all that and there really is no Del key within reach, you'll have to edit the key configurations file somewhere in your SH4 directory, unless there's a way in-game to re-map keys.

A few screenies I took right after I got the game:

Impending Impact

The Impacts

The Aftermath

Listing

The Silent Killer

One Last Shot

Almost There

Capsized 'Er

Down She Goes

And that was my first Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific adventure.

By the way, game runs great on my somewhat mediocre system, all graphics all the way up ~25 FPS.
