Hi dear Kaleuns and G.W.X Team,
I just started my 1.4b patched with G.W.X 3.0 Gold edition new patrol but... I dont know I think something is wrong to me I started at August 2,1939 sailed from Wilhemshaven (2. Flotilla) to Grid Bf17 now date is December 12,1939 war is declared and hunt in Atlantic started ! But I patrolled my grid spend %50 of my fuel and i patrolled other grids near to my patrol grid and I found nothing just nothing no ships no planes!?! no contact. And I get lots of radio messages from open freq. and other subs contact reports, SSS messages and tonnage reports even another sub reports sunk 30000 tons of merchant in Grid Bf17 !?!?! but I got nothing what happened to all ships and convoys, where is the planes and task forces searching for U-Boots ?? and I want to ask is this normal or am I doing something wrong ? 5 months at sea and I got nothing... ![]()

I might have a few answers to your questions. The messages you keep getting are a addition to GWX to add the feeling for immersion and that you are in a living breathing world and you are not the only U-Boat out on patrol. Have you been 5 months continuously at sea? As for not seeing any ships or planes what TC are you playing at? Anything over 256 TC and i will doubt you will see any planes. It is just a fact that the game engine moves the units at such large chunks at that speed that they will more than likely leap frog you. If you are playing over 256 TC, try playing with the TC a little lower and see if that works. As for not seeing any ships did you see any ships when you left harbour? Or on your way to your patrol area? Or is it that you have not seen any ships at all in game? Lastly are you play with any mods enabled if so let us know as that will help to answer your questions.

To clarify: If you simply enable the 'merged campaign' included optional mod (and ignore/disable the other included campaign files) you won't ever have to worry about whether or not traffic will be in one place or another. Loading times will be longer using the merged campaign files, but wherever you go (Black Sea and Indian Ocean included) the appropriate campaign scripting will be in place. The included Black Sea and Indian Ocean campaign mod files exist only to shorten loading times (if players wish) when sailing in those locations. |

No prob, I wasn't making fun. It just made me laugh. I kept imagining my watch officer throwing fireballs at incoming aircraft. Now that I think of it, that would make a great mod!
