Perhaps the offense is taken by the fact that a jewish/israeli person uses arabic letters to write I will not submit. It would probably have made no offense if it was written by an arab, would it? In that case, the image isn't offensive, it is the person that is being pursued. And it is clear that this Eric has an personal agenda. Stop being an ass, Eric. You are welcome to write "I will submit" in arameic or modern hebrew if you so desire.

Sure. We play this game sometimes over years, going from one court to the other.

This guy has taken action in the hidden.

He did so repeatedly.

He already has explained his motive, saying "offensive content by fascists".

He has not confronted AL in public and light, and gave no public explanation, which at least is a question of poor style and manners.

I don't need more to take position against him.

I don't like that these issues about hurt oh so precious Muslim feelings time and again are being blown out of proportions, as if all universe if revolving around Islam and muslim interests. they may think so, but this must not be a paradigm for us. Looking at ImageShack's written policies, it seems and sounds like they just take any complaints at face value.

If we want to test this, we would have to find non-offensive Islamic images hosted at ImageShack, submit that they be deleted on account of being offensive and see how ImageShack handles the matter or responds.

I also wonder whether this policy is for all uploaded pics or for those uploaded by unregistered users, with registered users possibly getting a heads-up to respond to complaints before any action might be taken.

I initially did not plan to participate in the banners and signatures stuff, but in support of free speech and opinion and also supporting this special cause, I also have set up the image here, feel free to use it:

I just do not find out how to turn that sig into a picture. Including the adress in [img] and [/img] or [IMG] [/IMG] does not work like it did on the old board. any help?

Yes there is, but you need the color code. For white it is color=#FFFFFF, for instance. I have no idea how you make dark green appear in hexadecimal ^_^

As for imageshack, they run a business. It is easier to delete auto-magically than taking each of numerous complaints up to revision. It is a robot war you cannot win, so find another place like you did. Do not defeat your enemy face on, outsmart them instead
