Hold down the Ctrl-key while moving the camera.

@Lavendel: Not bad, you took notice of it.
Apart from using the Ctrl key you can modify "cameras.dat". I'm not at my gaming computer right now, so I can't give you the exact path. Simply search for the file with standard windows search. This is how I recorded the scenes because you have more control over the speed of the camera, when you edit this file. However the file is binary, wich means, that you need a hex editor or you go the comfy way and use timetravellers SH3 Mini Tweaker, which can be found here: http://www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3sdk.htm
With timetravellers editor you can edit a ton of variables not only the camera settings. Maybe you find a way to edit the position of the camera, e. g. the position of the conning tower camera. I didn't find a way but it would allow more interesting perspectives.

Good luck making a movie!
