It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TteFAboB?

I imagine "Goodbye and thanks for all the fish" has a whole different meaning to a wolfpack harrassed convoy commander. :hmm:

This must be one of the most capricious threads on this forum...
A thread that is locked and trying to delete itself into outer space.

Locked? Oh, really? :hmm:

"Who are you? How'd you get in here?"

"I'm the locksmith...and I'm the locksmith."

OK, to be constructive, a straightforward solution to our problems has been discovered.

So, basically, all we have to do is to take a large mass, accelerate it to more than 57.7 percent of light speed, put the thread in front of it, and the antigravity beam would do the rest.
