Yeah, great to hear CCIP!

@ Kptn. Karl

That is that what i wanna have, too!

So great intensive Views in this great sim! When u go to free cam, u look at the waves and u think u are really there... it is like the human eyes....

Let`s wait what CCIP will bring us with the new testversion....

He has the chance to give us a complete new and much more realistic, intensive feeling inside and on the sub....

Imagine u have that view through your Binoculars while standing on the Bridge..... damn, can`t wait for CCIP`s testversion....

Greetings Sale

CCIP, Does the camera mod also include the bridgeview enhancements I mentioned in one of the former topics?

I am talking about putting the bridgeview on the VII's down 10cm (same height as crew) and forward by one meter so can see more of the bow, giving a more imersive 'boat feeling' instead of a floating conning tower.

Thanks for the bump

I'll get to it this week. Let me finish a few patrols first

So, if the outside camera (low) is 25, you'd like about 50 for the internal ones, right? (default is 75).

Hi CCIP!

Yeah, i think 50 would be a good value for that....

I would like to see how it is with 50... but think it could look great!

Alright, would be great if u could make a test version, where u give only the F4 Bridge view and the view in the centrale F2.....

For test it would we great, to see how it is with that value.....

Thank u very much CCIP for ur support..... i know it is time to work on those mods.....

Best wishes Sale

Ok, it's that time at last!

Test it out!

50FOV for everything except the external free cam which is at 25, and the periscopes/UZO... I left them default because I'm not entirely familiar with editing their zoom levels.

You know where it goes - data/library.

If you like it, I'll pack it together with the previous mods into a new version. Or, if you have any suggestions on how to make it better - go ahead!

Heh. Actually, I have problems uploading to Realsimulation for some reason...

In any case, just a beta. I'll get in touch with Terrapin as soon as I have this confirmed and noone has any complaints

Another question, what program do you use to edit the .dat files? I want to try putting the Bridgeview forward by a meter or so to see more of the bow. (VIIB/C's only)

thx

An FOV of 50 will give you an immersive 'movie' feel, as its the same fov that camers use (roughly).

However the human eye has an fov of about 120-140 - though its complicated, you ignore much of the information and concentrate on fov 75-90, which is why most fp games have an fps of 75-90.

I once had a C2 in my scope just like the above.....I was hunting in fog in my IIA, using hydro only....I guessed where it was, only too well....next thing, here it comes! I just missed it, and it never even noticed me until I sank her later, of course!!

Default Cheers

Thankyou CCIP. Your latest 50v camera mod is excellent.

I really like the feeling of claustrophobia it gives you in the Control room and the bridge and outside zoom views are superb.

Cheers again.
