Heard seldom of him lately, i had heard he was not well and had health problems, so somehow feared this would happen. We did not have contact often, but when it was always nice. Wish i would have met him.
"Hit" me at least two times when i was using swearwords, 2nd time "... just of all YOU should know!" (sidekick at my age probably

)

Very knowledgable in WW1 stuff, especially in planes, always very nice and decent in all exchanges.

Fair seas and fair winds old Sailor, you'll be in my memories as they left quite an impression on me when I was a lot more active around here back in the day.

Over the years, I have come and gone, sometimes only stopping by for a few days. While I was never a regular, Sailor Steve was one that would always correspond, and was welcoming.

I didn't have many interactions with you sir, but it was an honor.

Reading this makes me very sad. I joined this community relatively recently. But I really do like everyone here. Seriously, I can't think of anyone in these forums whom I wouldn't miss. You are all the kind of people I'd like to have a beer with.
