Mine was raised this morning - down to 1/2 bottle of Frascati for an entire evening's merchant raiding.... and no Commissario Montalbano on BBC2.

Timing does seem a little suspicious doesn't it? What with that and the sudden UKIP defection in Clacton...not that the government would ever decide a day being a good day to 'bury bad news' (TM).

Still, the overall response of the British public can be summed up in one film reference:

We've run out of tea bags on site. I'm nipping down the shops. Does anyone want anything

Pick up some condoms in case some of those randy government types show up.

Meanwhile...
On this side of the pond, our government types are singing the same warnings.
Second verse, same as the first.

Some antibiotics would be nice too. They'll go well with the Vindaloo.

Ok, I'm back. I've got tea bags, MOPP4 equipment, jelly babies and a Geiger counter for Oberon, dark chocolate for the guv and antibiotics for Wolferz. I've also bought a few spare changes of trousers and underwear, as we may well need them when the balloon goes up.

Daily Poop

Day 3 of mass riots and looting in the UK as fear runs a muck up and down the land. Stock Markets close on a all time high after a great day's trading.

And now we return you back to the real world....
