A few years back a friend of mine ask me to drive to St John's, Newfoundland, with him to visit his ailing step mother. There I was introduced to the local fish and chips. It was unbelievable. Fresh cod and PEI potatoes.
By the end of our one week stay we were eating it three times a day. ![]() Have not had any better since.

LOL...I remember my time living in Holland where therir norm was raw pickled herring.
I went into the restaurant of the works I was contracting to one friday and asked for a fried fish...a few heads turned my way that luchtime...I did slap it between two slices of buttered bread mind ![]() |
