I tried Oblivion yet despite the hype my impression while playing the game is that one of loneliness.

I feel like the vast world of the game is pretty empty aside from me. It made the game kind of depressing and made me want to quit to avoid feeling lonely and purposeless(the quests were not convincing and the battles were awkward and ugly)

Just watched Skyrim clip on youtube and I got the exact impression watching it. Loneliness and without purpose . . . .

Anybody share my sentiment?
