Why is this picture of american politics emerging in my mind?
The picture of which i speak is two monkeys screetching and throwing **** at eachother, both are identical in deed but diametrically oposed in rethoric and facts are never, ever touched upon. Those who try to bring facts into the discussion or do not take an extreme stance are called limp wristed pansies or either wing extremists. It might be a bit strong and no actual offense is intended by this, but most political threads seem to degrade to that.
