One of the German signs has a spelling mistake in it.
It's Deckungslöcher or Deckungsloecher (if you don't want to use umlauts) but it's definitely not Deckungsloeher.

No matter...it is still jibberish to me!

Yes, it is the Black Widow. Last year she was in pieces. I hope to see her fly next year!

Yes, she will be the only P-61 in flying condition. I love the fact that people are compelled and have the passion to bring aircraft/vessels/vehicles from WW2 back to life. I hope to see the P-38 Glacier Girl one of these days. She as a sponser at this particular show but she has never made an appearance. Maybe one year soon.

Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera so I haven't got any pictures of the droppings myself
That is a place I'd love to visit, to pay my respects. Thank you for those videos, particularly the last one, fantastic view there.
Thank you

I don't know if traditions have changed since 1990 in Holland but on Rememberance Day each war grave was tended by a schoolchild for the day

Now that is an interesting fact Jim. For the most part on the days of rememberence here in the states an American flag is placed at each grave.

Hmm, wouldn't really know about that...
There are memorial services at the war cemeteries, but I don't know if the graves are tended by schoolchildren. It could be, but I've never heard of it.
I do know that traditionally each year at "Dodenherdenking" schoolchildren do put up wreaths at the National Monument in Amsterdam.
