Goes well with another of our "conservatively sized" consumables...

hmm, I still remember when I chopped lurkers as a paladin in Ultima Underworld I+II (published by the great Looking Glass Studios). but SubSim wouldn't do that to the "stow-away" at all, I guess.

was lurking myself for 2years when I had issues with SH3 stock-game. only when I tried GWX for the first time (3months ago) I felt the need to come out of the dark and to thank the people who created this brilliant work.
and now I'm hooked.

Three posts in three years, I guess that still qualifies me as a lurker.
In fact I'm sure I had a login before 2007 but couldn't remember what my name was

Hi Noren ! Great post.

I am one of the most pacific person you can think of.
But there is something glamourous about that U-boat craze.
The Germans, who were proud warriors and also were a technologically advanced nation, had an impressing range of weapons.
Even if we humans are mostly pacific in nature, there is still a warrior part in ourselves that can't help but shoot at an enemy,
- an enemy we think is responsible for our troubles -
and that we fear will invade our countries, loot our goods, rape our women etc..
(behind the smokescreen, we can see that we are also carefully being brainwashed in believing this by politicians/corporatists )

As i am an avid reader of alternative history, i would say i must agree.

- But it's like walking in a minefield for the man who dares to question this matter... -

One important part of making war, is the control of information...
and i would say we are all more or less 'victims' of this kind of weapon.

Sometimes i tell myself i should have a respectful thought for those
guys who courageously died (for real) in an horrible war that allows me
today to enjoy these games in front of my PC screen.

salute.

Default LURKER vs. POSTER

Damm it
Remember, A poster has 3 positive attributes; he offers a constructive opinion, he posts to give assistance, and he posts requesting assistance.

A lurker is as a siphon for his personal needs only.

Welcome aboard and get to posting your 3 positive attributes. Some of us have 4 positive attributes; the 4th only obtained with rank and time being that of an ass.... as a result of what we have to deal with at Subsim.

Welcome aboard......

Three posts in three years? Your nickname Jibber Jabber? You have professed your lurker-ness. You are on the road to recovery. Welcome to the typed language we use to communicate. I think you will enjoy it.

Your first lesson Grasshopper. When you can make three posts with out creating an outrage with other members you will be free to roam the forums and post at will!!!

C'mon AVG. My posts are constructive, though at times stir controversy which is not bad. I got a kick out of your reply. If you take the time to review my threads objectively, 90% are of a beneficial nature to the members. I agree at times I throw whole trees on the fire.

Thank you for your reply......It means that I am the proud holder of the 4th attribute.....I went to your page to get as assesment of your threads and posts but got a "POP-UP" from Subsim saying that Neal had to hire another server for yours, and it did not supply me with the link to finish my assesment.

Default Hi everyone

<--- 3rd post, so i guess its prob time to surface and tell you alittle about myself. 1st post was to sign up to exclude sh5 from OSP, so i guess the controversy was good for the forum's lurkers to finialy speak up.

Yeah i've been lurking around for awhile, first stumbled across these forums looking for mods for SH3. but since SH5 announcement i've been reading these forum almost every day.

I've always liked simulator games. Began with flight sim (Airbus A320) and geoff Crammond's Grand prix on the Amiga. then i dicoverd Silent Service 2 and have been hooked on subsims since...

I do play other games but they just dont last, I soon get bored and always find myself returning to my favourite simulators.

My top 3 games that I play regularly are :-

Silent Hunter 3 (GWX3, SH3Commander, Hitman optics. (100% realism, no map contacts).
GTR2. (I would play at 100% realism, but dont have a steering wheel and its imposible to control with gamepad without help options).
Flight sim X. (every setting on realistic).

so hi everyone,

jwilliams.
