That's it. "Sword of the ocean". VERY fitting. My initial reaction to that title was o.O. Then it quickly went to "brilliant"

I think this gives the ship a little more respect than what you've got sledgehammer. The boat probably needs to be remade from scratch if it wants to look anything like the one from the movie.

Is this project on hold for the other boats? I'm just wondering seeing how it has dropped far down on the forum.

That model looks like an absolute beauty. OH MY GOD, I want. Don't know what I would do at it other than bask in its glory.
Shucks it is no longer available, at least at the Disney store. I do know there is a company that makes absolutely gorgeous reproductions of this model. Wheel house, and Gallery all very nicely detailed. Oh, and here is an absolutely insane kit that is special order. You actually install every rivet on hull plates mounted on an actual skeleton of ribs and stringers. Perhaps it is good I am poor, I'd be unwisely spending a wad O cash. http://www.totalimmersion.com/Nautilus.htm Last edited by pythos; 07-15-09 at 10:13 PM. |

Well, since the nautilus was designed to take out WOODEN ships, Steel targets would cause a little difficulty, so multiple rammings may be in order, especially with RFB
![]() I already edited the Hitpoints to go off the charts, but with enough that you cant go about and do it forever, you know ![]()

Oh it has got to be ramming attack only. At those speeds it would be such a fast moving target to do multiple passes, and take out rudders, propellers and putting sizable holes in a target would be quite easy. Leaving a slowly sinking and doomed vessel.
I just realized, such an attack is probably the most Humane way of taking out a ship. It ravages the target, and scares the hell out of the crew. But most if not all crew members would be able to abandon ship before it sunk. No explosions, just mighty wallops. Too bad such a boat could not actually be made. Tonnage, with minimal loss of life and limb and looking like a creature from hell while doing it ![]() |
