I know this is not exactly news to some of you but I had to mention this.Earlier in training against the prone merchant just sitting there,I maneuvered myself round for a submerged 0deg shot at,ooh about 1000m.I fast forwarded the game until about 22:00.I slowly raised the PS to about 0.5m above the surface, then raised it a little more to avoid the distortion from the water, when all of a sudden I was practically blinded by what I thought was my monitor dying on me When it finally dawned on me that the merchant had spotted the PS and lit me up with his, spotlights?! ,I thought to myself "that is very bloody impressive".
Little things like those really make an impact, you know?

Note- It was quite a light night, and probably explains how he spotted the PS,and the close range.Looking through my UBoat commander's handbook it DOES in fact state not to show more than a fist size portion of the PS.I think I may have raised it far higher than that, almost to the top,and I was only at 12m

Your getting really spoiled now....you don't owe some of these people money do you? Not related to the royal family perhaps?

Yep.

There's lots more to be found

Some call them Easter Eggs.
Some call them Myths.
Some people spend MONTHS searching out all
the Eye Candy.

Do yourself a favour and start a career in 1944 in Bergen or Brest, or 1945 in Flensburg.

Start a patrol and wait for a bit before heading out. Even better if it is a night start.

Oh and turn your speakers up nice and loud too before starting.

Haha this is like my first GWX experience in 1.03, imagine how excited I was when I was asked to beta test 2.0, me being new to the subsim community.

Thats when the whales, forts and other cool easter eggs were added if I remember correctly.
