I think all politicians smell like that. It's how they recognize each other. Kinda like a fragrant form of gaydar.

Back to the original topic.

If you've ever been sightseeing in DC in the summertime, he's correct. It's hot, humid, and you end up getting in line with a bunch of smelly tourists.

At least amusements parks and Disneyland have fans, mists of water, and other things to cool you off while waiting in line. In DC all they do is sell you more ice cream, lemonade, and beer.
