We all know that. My title was a joke. I just wanted to share the cool pictures. Did you even read my post?

No, it was made during the war and they had no access to any German equipment. The so-called Q-ship was played by a model, if I recall correctly.

As far as a movie made during WWII, than Destination Tokyo without a doubt.
BTW, Mush Morton visited the set during filming. This flick was used as a motivator in sub school back in the 50's. |

Why do people keep arguing, and missing the fact that I was having a joke and showing off some cool pictures.
We all agree that Crash Dive pretty much sucked, which was the point.

This seems the right thread for what brought me here this time. It's a lazy saturday afternoon, and I decided to reach for my DVD shelf and pulled out Red October.
Although I've watched it countless times in the past, only now (the DVD is paused) I noticed a model that looks like a type II. It is 20 minutes into the movie, when Dr. Ryan (Alec Baldwin) goes to the graving docks in Maryland to talk to Skip Tyler. They go back inside some building, and in the background to the right I noticed what really looks like a type II sub model. Can anyone confirm this? |
