Till' recently I had this problem too! Sun=Bright dot!
Back then, I used a Set of Omega Drivers for my ATI x1300!

But since the Omega drivers didn't have an update in quite some time, due to their maker having RL problems, I installed the lates ATI ones...and bugger if I know why...but now it works!:hmm:
OLCe² looks dashing with the sun all bright and halo-ish!

It's def. a driver issue!

Yeah, I was thinking that too last night. I haven't updated drivers in a while. I'd hate to do it since I don't want any newer drivers to crash any of my flight sims. But maybe it's worth a try.

Yes it's starting to look like a driver/Video card issue!

Did you have this problem with Stock 1.4b?

Like Myxale, I`m using an ati X-1300 card, I also switched from Omega drivers to ati drivers, solved all my probs with the sun.

Hi Myxale

I was looking at your avatar and crazy thought came up :hmm:

Could the lightning kill somebody on U-boats bridge or inside of it by hiting near to it ??? (not to mention at it) Rubber boots of course can save but not always

What do others think about this ? :hmm:

I don't think it's ever been recorded as happening, the sea & the whole of the sub would be negatively charged, I think you would have to get a direct hit on the head, the chances are probably 1 in a million or higher!

I have old Omega drivers & yes I get a lot more fps than with ATI, that is why I have stuck to them.
