Found It, Clay!!

Here is the stern torp room from the .upc you sent me:

UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 1.Bunker 1] ; Stern Torpedo Room
ID=SternTorpedoRoom
Capacity=6
IDLinkAmmunitionIntervalDefault1= NULL, 1943-12-31, Mk14Torpedo, 6
IDLinkAmmunitionIntervalDefault2= 1944-01-01, 1944-06-31, Mk14Torpedo, 3, Mk18Torpedo, 2, Mk23Torpedo, 1
IDLinkAmmunitionIntervalDefault3= 1944-07-01, 1944-12-31, Mk14Torpedo, 1, Mk18Torpedo, 1, Mk23Torpedo, 4
IDLinkAmmunitionIntervalDefault4= 1945-01-01, NULL, Mk14Torpedo, 4, Mk18Torpedo, 2

Notice anything wrong with the Yellow line? Look at the beginning. There is no bracket [ Put a bracket at the beginning of the line and go blow stuff up!!!! Like this:

[UserPlayerUnit 1.Compartment 1.Bunker 1]

I told you it was easy:rotfl:. See how a simple little thing can make everything screw up!!! I looked at it three times before I saw it. I was doing the same thing you were, I was consentrating on the numbers and didn't see it. If it doesn't work this time then go ahead and send the .sim and .dat and I will check them, but I think you are ok now.
Happy hunting my friend!!

May not hurt to reinstall if you have been trying different things and making changes. A crash when you quite the program is almost impossible to find. It could be a million things.
But I would save the .sim file and the .upc that you added storage to before you reinstall. Then after the reinstall play the game and see if it crashes.

If it's ok then copy the .sim and .upc from your new reinstall and save them somewhere.

And put in the .sim and .upc you made with the extra storage, and see if it crashes then, if it doesn't then you are ok and the extra storage is done. If it crashes when you put the .sim and .upc in then there is still a problem with the storage stuff, so you can take them out and put back the reinstalled ones that you saved. Does this make sense. I don't know if I am saying this very well. If it doesn't make sense let me know I will try to say it better.

Or, if you think you can redo it, don't bother saving and just redo the storage. It looks like you did it right the last time just that little stupid bracket that was missing.

Ya, the shutting down could be anything. Have you tried shutting the computer down and restart and play the game without doing anything else to make sure it's the game?

30!! You going to try to win the war all by yourself?. And there may be a limit on how many you can add, I don't know.
