I got a chance to play the candidate for the new roll/pitch. It feels natural and I like it. I would however reduce the roll one notch. In 5 meter wind I felt like a cork. Got a bit seasick as well. Other than that, I free camera up to bow and I felt like I was on a boat. Very nice really.

Since in SH3 I always set the waves to 'x2', and since you described the absolute maximum conditions available in the game, of course I was forced to vote option #3 for both boat and water.

If I can't have a full-blown gale, at least I can pretend.
I must be daft; I did not realize this was MAX wind and seas for SH4. So I must change my vote from P&R #2 to #3; I already voted for sea state #3.

Thanks for the info Steve!

This Pitch Mod will be installed via JSGME on top of (after) all of the latest versions of the various ROW modules .... you should tell JSGME to go ahead and install/over-write because the files from those ROW modules will be included in the Pitch Mod, so you will get all the ROW aspects of those files plus my Pitch tweaks to those files.
...
Thanks for the very clear and complete explanation. Looking forward to your MOD.

Yes, they were made to be stable. If you note, there are strips on each saddle tank. These were to help reduce roll. After all, it was a boat that could submerge for a time. Anyway, like I stated above, reduce the roll one notch (make it less) and I think it will be just great. Playing with the beta file last night was quite nice. The bow seemed to follow the swells it was attempting to get though. Even at 5 meter wind the props did not breech the surface. That is a good thing. Water actually went over the turtleback. Seem very natural
