at first I was with the naysayers,, but then I considered more about it.

I think it is a masterful idea, and a very interesting possible alternate to the SHIII premise.

I have worked oit out on a seperte disk of a "what if" the Germans , brits and USA were against Japan (yep, added all the japanese craft available.)

new small ADD-ON for IGM!!!

Ahoy to all.
I hope that you have good ball/party for these holidays. I have “life without computers” and been with my family and girlfriend… Now I back to the study and continue work on IGM. Today I make a better rank insignias for IGM and make small ADD-ON for it.

I recommended usage of this mod with GWX EXPANSION and IGM but it also works with any other mod or original SH3. (maybe you only must change a background of rank picture because it is moded specially for usage with IGM...)

When final version of IGM be done I planed upload it in 3 different version for most groups of SH3 players:
1. with my custom Imperial emblems and without swastikas
2. without my custom Imperial emblems and without swastikas
3. without my custom Imperial emblems and with swastikas (for
people who went to use it)

problems with extract .dat files with Pack3D!

I m sorry for lateness in IGM subs skinning progress, but I been very busy with preparation/studding for exams and I don’t work on my mod.


Yesterday I try extract TGA textures of sub hulls from .dat files “data\Submarine and from data\Objects” with tool Pack3D but this tool always show me THIS “java.lang. Negative.Array.SizeException” error when I try open .dat files in “data\Submarine” folder and most .dat files in data\Objects folders.

I only can open some .dat files in “data\Objects” folder such as “Turm2A_1_hd.dat” or “Turm9c_1_hd.dat” in these files I find some sub hull textures but only texture from Type II subs is maybe valid for reskinning, for I Type IX don’t find proper hull texture in this .dat files, Type VII sub “Turm7b_1_hd.dat” can’t open and Type XXI sub .dat I don’t find in “\data\Objects”.


With which tool I can extract .TGA textures from .dat files?

Type XXI is almost finished!...

I have some good news about IGM!:

I almost been finished with reskining of Type XXI sub, I need to polishing lower hull to give my XXI sub look of “brand new sub just LAUNCH from shipyard”
