Lurker, any changes from the test file you asked me to test?

Lurker,

Thanx so much. Now I can patch to 1.4. I've just been waiting for this one.

Question: Is this RSRD compatable with TM 172, or should I continue in wait mode until the right edition of RSRD is finished?

Biting nails waiting for reply . . .

Thanks a lot for your hard work lurker, appreciating your mod very much !

one issue here though:
After i have installed the RSRDC_TM version (with TM 1.7.2) the detailed mission descriptions don't show up in the Captains/ship Log.
Those detailed objective texts (of the "briefing room" as well as the "enroute updates") don't make it into the Captains Log as a whole content. Merely some generic text appears in the Log.

RSRDC_RFM with RFB on the other hand works nice in this regards, the detailed text content seems to be copied as a whole into the log in any case.

I have installed/overwritten RSRDC right after the respective mod with JSGME in all cases.

Any idea what could be the reason for this ?
What can be done to get the TM version working as well as the RFB version in this regards ?

Amazing little mod, and I especially salute you for making an effort to make it compatible with all the major mod configs.

Soon as I'm free from work, I'll be playing this, you bet

The "stock" lifeguard missions have been disabled, but there are some "down pilot" missions within RSRDC

How do you complete the downed aviator missions? I go to the icon, and see three smoke clouds. I approach each cloud and designate the aviator with the binoculars. I press the appropriate button and get a message saying that I have picked up survivors. I do this for each of the three smoke clouds. The clouds vanish after I pick up the pilot. But I never get credit for completing this mission.

Am I supposed to wait for a period of time in the vicinity? I waited for a week, just sitting on the icon until I got destroyed by repeated enemy air attacks while I was just waiting on the surface. Is there more downed pilots? Is there another air strike scheduled for later that I need to wait for? I cruised around the island and looked all over with the external cam and I don't see any more smoke clouds. What needs to be done to complete this mission? The mission briefings are usually pretty detailed, but I can't this one to complete.

I'm having the same problem. Date is August 1943, location is Toulogi (or something like that, sorry, I don't have the game open currently). It seems like there is an airbase on the island (keep seeing planes spawn from the middle of it), if that helps. I am getting bored of sailing around waiting for smoke...
