I'm in the midst of writing a pretty big East China Sea scenario. Some of the water is deep enough that I should be able to do decent testing. It'll be a while but I'll report what I find.

real life is definitely beginning to interfere with my gaming...

Yeah .. real world .. don't overdo it and start with little doses, so the 'real world' gets used to your playing

This thread is a worthwhile reading for anyone playing DW.
There cannot be a "casual gamer" with a game like this (at least a "casual hardcore") so anyone should read this, imo.

I've just started playing DW with no experience at all about similar games, and I think is fantastic if you feel passionate enough about the subject, which I am. So: thank you for this most intresting and informative thread, it's people doing like you that make this community so great
