I'm blown away by the number of Office patches too for 2007 already. -S PS. Let me boot up an XP machine and count. I know its a lot more, but it is also several years worth - not months worth. |

OK...so I'm now in my first week of using Vista, and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised...I like the OS a lot more than I thought I would, and I have to say that the memory hit is just not that bad. With FF running, I'm using 29% of my memory, not all that much more than the 25% I used to get with XP. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it so far.
P.S.: I like Aero...it's pretty slick.

Great! I need to use my Autocad LT 2005/2006 and it 'has known problems with Vista'! Is this never ending on what doesn't work with this software?
I need to do a drawing!!!! Ughhh! Solution includes - upgrading 'again'. Upgrading a business user to Vista could be a multi thousand dollar affair it would seem. It is becoming that way with me! -S |
