A fighter pilot.
(no, bad eyes)

A musician.
(been one for forty years; never made any money at it)

A professional historian.
(didn't figure that one out until a little too late)

Now? There are a lot of books left to read, a motorcycle to ride, more music to play, a sister to visit, maybe a reunion with my kids.

My highest priority is being a good husband and father in the future. Career comes after that.

Cheers, I plan to apply to my nation's intelligence service after I finish up university. But if my grades are high enough, I'd like to go on to post-graduate studies. Then by that time it's anyone's guess!

I used to think a lot like this. I was previously training as a journalist and didn't like it because it would keep me away from my future wife and family for too long... but as I got a sense of the world outside my door, I wanted more and more. Now it's going to be a looong time before I settle down!

Great life
Thanks! Nobody ever told me that before.

You can accomplish that right now. The only thing stopping you is you so go for it.

There's a George Patton quote which applies here I think...

Haha, seriously, I was thinking more along the lines of "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other SoB die for his country"
