Graphics is great...I mean GREAT.

But you will all miss SH3. Sounds are terrible, horrible...and they are missing. No settings for the torps ? No attack map ? Why ? . It feels arcade like style a little to me....

When I review a game I usually put in more than a few hours of playing before I post. Keep playing, you will find the torpedo settings and attack map....

This is a perfect example of why we need to remain calm and not jump to conclusions. Most people will have this game by the end of next week. Get it, play it over several days, and then post your thoughts.

Yeah! Nothing is worse than people who steal a game and then launch into a premature rant about how bad it is

Not directing this at you, Kruger. Post a pic of the manual and disc like Shipshape. We hate pirates and we don't want you getting a bad name.

Oh, pirated or not - just to poke about those sound and torpedo issues, because I don't think they're THAT relevant.

1) Sounds - you're probably comparing it to SHIII out-of-the-box. Of course GWX is far above; but I believe it'd be sensible enough if SHIV was roughly the same as SHIII in terms of sound.
These are easy to mod. I'm sure many things will cross over from SHIII mods.

2) Attack map - haha, I think an 'attack map' is actually arcade :p Seriously, what realism purpose did it serve? The new TDC should be much better.
I can't comment on the settings though. I'm sure if it's got magnetics, it's gotta have a torpedo depth switch somewhere, wouldn't make sense otherwise...

I don't think he stole it ... look at this thread:

I even made fun of him, but it looks like he was telling the truth, doesn't it?

Well in any case I need everyone to start posting SH4 stories ASAP. I can't play the game so I have to live vicariously through the forum (accidentally killed my video card, using old POS backup card).

Sir, just back away from the computer and no one gets hurt. Take a deep breath, no ones going anywhere. Relax we're here to help you.....(wink, wink). Don't "BS" the guys anymore more because they can't take it.
Ok Men, sneak around him, and take him out, the crowd can't take it anymore.....Use Lethal Force if necessary.......

No... I'm pretty sure he meant the wad in his wallet. You know expensive diners, shoes, flowers and the like. Yes.. that must be it. :hmm:
