Well, i dont think the UBI forums can compete with the ol' texan hospitality.. Thats for sure. Several people enter these forums each day, and i have yet to see anyone talking "bad" about subsim.

The best reason for "choosing" SubSim: The modders hang out here!

(And I get a feeling the average age is a bit higher here, which suits me, since I`m getting old)

I can tell you one absolutely bad thing about SubSim, or even worse than bad: it consumes so freaking huge amounts of time I could spend playing my GWX careers...

Thats the truth Boris!!! There are A-holes all over. It is just a matter of finding a forum with decent people like Subsim. Sure, we get into some heated discussions but there is no brow beating someone into submission over a fact or opinion. Usually you find the immature on the company that created the game site and offered up a forum for it. Through anonymity on the forums they can say whatever they want and get away with it. Often it is best to ignore them and they go away.

That's true! Also I'm finding that with SH4 nearing release, I'm spending an increasing amount of time on here while I'm at work!

The only time I venture into the UBI forum is to take a peak at the daily dev answer thread and get out.

You will have to blame the creator of the thread, who clearly states its slightly off topic.

I didnt think it was worth confessing my love of subsim since I am posting here. but anyway...
