Is there a thread that might enlighten me on which SH5 purchase option is the best between Steam, Download, DVD? I would prefer to play of course without the need for disc in drive or DRM if possible. And the other consideration is the ease of modding. If DVD is best option which version (Gold or Standard?). I really appreciate any insight(s) you can offer. |

OK thanks Silent. I've been leaning towards that option myself, as it is always nice to have a physical copy for your money. Steam is fine for most games in my experience, but there are certain games I've had issues with in the past. Mainly as it relates to patching and/or modding.
At this point in time is there any real DRM difference between Steam, DVD, and Download versions of SH5? It is my understanding that uPlay is only required for MP. Is that correct? Is uPlay implementation the same in all 3 versions of the game? Sorry for all the questions guys. |
