Based on the iconic Mercedes-Benz Unimog, this go anywhere monster is packed with a 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine pumping out 260 horsepower along with 700 ft-lb of torque through the 8-speed transmission to tackle any terrain.

I'd bet I could get that behemoth stuck real good.

A colorized photo of a Hellcat, after it had crashed through the barrier when landing.

And a black and white photo showing the pilot escaping from it. Sadly a few weeks later, he would lose his life after being shot down by a Japanese fighter.

Looks more vivid in color!

No option to dump fuel in Hellcats I take it? Come to think of it...I can't think of many aircraft in that era which had that option.

Don't know that much about a Hellcat to say they could Oberon.

This 30,000-acre U.S. National Wildlife Refuge located on the southern end of San Francisco Bay features impressive salt evaporation ponds that can take on pretty much any color of the rainbow.

Default Strafing the salt marshes of 'Frisco Bay'

Very sure! In the '70's I did a 'touch and go' in a Cessna 150(no usual 172 available that day) adjacent to (& low and slow over) the salt evaporators just north of San José International Airport. . http://www.airfields-freeman.com/CA/Airfields_CA_SanJose.htm#fremont I was in my twenties: In my risky Chasseur des gonflé period till a near-collision at 100' at an uncontrolled airfield initiated by my instructor prudently ended my aerial adventures in favor of riskier 24/7 sleeper-team long-haul truckin'....also outta San José!

A collection of very interesting and rather harrowing pictures taken by Soviet forces during the Battle for Berlin, I haven't seen many of these, needless to say there some NSFW in there, corpses and the like...it was a terrible battle and some of these pictures show that well:

Impressive. I wonder what the British WWI tank did there. My best guess is that it was taken from a museum as a last ditch effort to stop the Soviets but it's pretty strange nonetheless.
