Actually I just pulled everything out of the planter boxes for this year's new crops and the carrots were still good! As for California's government with Jerry 'moonbeam' Brown at the helm....I'm off to sail today and get a handle on my own tiller...

wolf_howl15 Premature declaration of spring...

It was snowing here this AM

But, I've seen snow flurries in Kentucky in May before so, not that unusual here I guess.

We got a little dusting in the wee small hours today, too. It has melted now.

During the afternoon about 3 I went for a walk on the back yard, (remember there is still 2' of snow in the bush) and on the side of the hill the septic bed is under I caught me a Copper Bellied Water Snake. It was a little dopy as it didn't slither away when I stopped over top of it, so I picked it up and took it into the house so the D-I-L (she's a Brit) could see one up close. They do bite, are not venomous and have a nasty disposition. I had it by the sides of the head. He that controls the head of a snake controls the snake.

It's not like a snake has arms and hands to punch you with.

That's a good idea.

Wherever Mr Quatro is, it might be summer. Where we are it is still winter/barely spring.

U crank will bugger off back to Jimaiker again.

In two weeks time will be on my boat on the weekends.
I go north hopefully at the beginning of June and I heard that I might be hauling out of Winnipeg, MB this year.
